About Training

The Government of Maharashtra has entrusted the responsibility of planning and monitoring of senior and selection grade training to the State Council for Educational Research and Training. This portal has been developed for online registration for this training. Teachers of primary, secondary, higher secondary and teacher school teachers are required to register on this portal.

Senior Grade Training

This training is for Teachers how have completed 12 years of service

Objectives

  • To create awareness about National Education Policy 2020.
  • Changes in the field of education in the context of globalization, modernization and its impact on the quality of education.
  • To enable teachers to assimilate the knowledge, skills, attitudes required to improve the learning process.
  • To become self reliant by adopting new technology for self development, student development, institution development.
  • To enable 21st century skills to be inculcated in students.
  • To understand the ways of promoting physical and mental health and to be able to act accordingly.
  • Strengthening human rights awareness, multiculturalism and commitment to constitutional values.

Qualification Criteria

The candidate has to fulfill the following conditions.
  1. 12 years of qualified service
  2. The committee appointed for this work finds the work of the candidates satisfactory.
  3. a) Complete at least three weeks of in-service training prescribed by the department or at least ten days or 50 hours of on-line online training prescribed by the department.
    b) He / she must have completed in-service training as prescribed by the government or he / she must have completed at least ten days of in-service training prescribed by the department.

Selection Grade Training

This training is for Teachers how have completed 24 years of service

Objectives

  • Enabling the implementation of innovative streams to meet the changing educational challenges.
  • To enable teachers to effectively implement assessment methods and tools.
  • To develop the necessary educational work culture in teachers for effective school management organization and administrative skills.
  • To enable the school curriculum and teacher education curriculum to cope with the changes taking place as per the new National Education Policy 2020.
  • Strengthening human rights awareness, multiculturalism and commitment to constitutional values.
  • To enable teachers to assimilate the knowledge, skills, attitudes required to improve the learning process.
  • Changes in the field of education in the context of globalization, modernization and its impact on the quality of education

Qualification Criteria

The candidate has to fulfill the following conditions.
  1. 24 years of qualified service
  2. a) Complete at least three weeks of in-service training prescribed by the department or at least ten days or 50 hours of on-line online training prescribed by the department.
    b) He / she must have completed in-service training as prescribed by the government or he / she must have completed at least ten days of in-service training prescribed by the department.
    c)
    1. For Primary Teachers - Trained Graduates should be qualified.
    2. Eligibility for Elementary School Headmasters - Post Graduate Trained Teachers.
    3. Trained in Secondary School - Degree for undergraduate teachers and post graduate trained teachers for undergraduate teachers should be qualified.

Training Fees

Training fees must be paid online. Pay the training fee online only after making sure that all the information required for the training is filled in correctly. It should be noted that, Paid Fees will not be refunded for any reason.
